Current version of Serilna (~Ver2.4.1) is not available on iOS13.1.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
Continuing with updates into 2016, we are happy to announce the release of Ver2.1.0, which adds additional features, introduced below.
This version adds the widely-requested ability to print a custom message on reception tickets as well as the ability to send a notification of ticket issuance on the calling screen.
Also, we have added “SINJO-KUN@Susaki City, Kochi Pref” to the skins, letting you enjoy Susaki's famous Nabeyaki Ramen with SINJO-kun.
Please don’t hesitate to update to the latest version of Serialna and try these new features today!
In the past, when a customer is issued a reception ticket on the reception screen, only essential information, such as the ReceiptNumber and the QR code for the email notification service, was displayed on the ticket that was issued.
Now, it is possible to add a custom message as well that the customer will see.
The message can be changed at any time from the menu, making it possible to include either a fixed message or a message that makes use of the current day and time information.
The message is extremely simple to set, as introduced here.
2.Next, on the settings screen that is displayed, select your printer.
3.Next, select “Print message on reception ticket” and enter your custom message.
4.A test print looks like the following:
5.The custom message is printed on the reception ticket!
(If you are using the email calling service, the QR code will be printed below this message.)
Please give this feature a try as an additional way to communicate with your customers!
In the past, we received a lot of feedback that when a ticket was issued, the result would only be that a single line of customer information was added to the calling screen, making it difficult to notice when a new ticket was issued unless you were always watching the screen.
With that in mind, we have added the ability to display a message on the calling screen when a new ticket is issued.
This feature is also very simple to use.
This feature makes it easier for staff to notice when a new reception ticket is issued, letting them interact with newly-arrived customers right away. We do hope you will give it a try!
Finally, we are happy to introduce the “SINJO-KUN@Susaki City, Kochi Pref” skin.
We hope it will join the existing skins in making your reception screen more fun to use!
Our apologies for the delay.
On October 9th, we released Version2.0.3 with support for iOS9.
Serialna now works without any issues on iOS9, so please take the time to update your version.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to users waiting for this update.
We hope that you will continue to enjoy using Serialna.
In the previous post, we notified that the current version of Serialna (~Ver2.0.2) is not available on iOS9.
That status is not changed on the latest update, iOS9.0.2, either.
We continue to ask you not to update iOS.
We plan to release a version of Serialna that will address the issue with iOS9 in the next few days
and ask for your patience for just a while longer.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
We have added a switch to the main menu, so that you can turn on/off the Call by E-Mail Service.
This switch is only available if you have purchased the Call by E-Mail add-on.
In order to use the Call by E-Mail Service, don’t forget to turn this switch "on".
Unlike previous versions, opening the requests screen will not turn the Call by E-Mail Service on automatically.
The Call by E-Mail Service remains "on".
If you try to turn the switch "off" when there are still customers who have yet to be called, the below message will appear:
"There remain numbers for those awaiting their call-out. If the email calling service is terminated, you will be unable to call the holders of these numbers through email. Do you still wish to terminate"
The Call by E-Mail Service will turn "off".
When starting up the requests screen, don’t forget to the turn the Call by E-Mail Service switch "on".
We hope you enjoy continuing your use of the Call by E-Mail Service.
In this piece, we would like to introduce the “Guided Access” function within the iOS that we would like to have users of Serialna set up before using the app.
Have you ever experienced a case in which a customer accidentally pushes the home button on the iPad you’ve set up for request-only use, or accidentally changes apps, causing the request status of Serialna to turn off?
By using the Guided Access function, you can not only have Serialna be the only app usable on your iPad, but can also turn off use of hardware buttons, avoiding any such trouble before it happens.
You can refer to the official Apple website for details on how to use the Guided Access function, but we will give you an overview of how to use it with Serialna here.
The first thing you need to do is access Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Guided Access, in that order, to open up the Guided Access settings menu.
Switch “Guided Access” to On, and set a passcode using the “Set Passcode” setting. By setting a passcode, those who do not know the passcode will be unable to unlock the Guided Access function, so please do set one up.
With this, set up is finished.
Next, start up the Serialna app, tap the “Display Requests” tile as always, and triple press the home button while in the request display mode.
If done correctly, this will bring up a message saying “Guided Access Started”, meaning that the guided access has begun functioning. This will ensure that the iPad can only be used with the Serialna app. Please use the iPad for request use in this mode.
This way, even if a customer accidentally presses the home button, the Guided Access message will simply be displayed and Serialna will remain on.
Next, we will show you how to end Guided Access use once business hours are over.
Please triple press the home button to bring up the “Enter Passcode” screen and enter in your passcode.
If the correct passcode is entered, you will see a screen like the following displayed, so tap “End” to end use of the Guided Access function.
You will see the message “Guided Access Ended” displayed, meaning that the Guided Access has stopped functioning.
With this, hardware buttons have now become functional again, allowing you to switch between apps and use the iPad as normal.
This ends the explanation of how to use the Guided Access function with Serialna.
Users who cannot always check the status of their request-use iPad, such as when it is placed in a separate location, can lighten their work load by setting up this feature.
We ask that everyone who uses Serialna with a request-use iPad utilize the “Guided Access” function.
